UPDATE 5/2:  PRE-REGISTRATION is now CLOSED.  Due to your overwhelming response, ALL volunteer shifts have been filled! **If you know anyone in the TACOMA area or are willing to help us out in TACOMA, our Athletics/track & field meet at Mt. Tacoma High School is still in urgent need of volunteers this Sunday, May 5th.  Info for that event: https://specialolympicswashington.org/event-volunteers/

You are more than welcome to come to the Kirkland event and register on-site in the event we have a few no-shows or found a new need.  Pre-registered volunteers have priority and while we check them in and then determine where we might place you, you will be part of our Fans in the Stands. Please see the times below on when it would be best for you to arrive:

Check-in time for on-site registrataion for the All Day shift is 7:30am. 

Check-in time for on-site registrataion for the AM shift is 8:000am.  

Check-in time for on-site registrataion for the PM shift is 12:30pm.

Pre-registering through this online application enables you to register for the specific role and time/shift you desire.  Please note that due to any unforeseen circumstances, volunteers may be re-assigned as needed. 

To register, please select Register Now at the right of this page. If you already have a volunteer account with Special Olympics Washington, you can select Login. You can edit your schedule or cancel your reservation any time by logging back into the application and viewing your schedule.

*The minimum age to volunteer is 11.  Youth ages 11-13 must volunteer with an adult, please select "Small Group" as your Registrant Type.  This allows all members of the family be registered under the same email address and linked together.        Teens ages 14-17 may volunteer on their own in select roles.  

If you are part of a group of more than 10 volunteers and wish to volunteer together, please email us at volunteer@sowa.org for suggested opportunities.

If you are a Games Management Team member or have a pre-assigned role and you've forgotten the Access Code, please email Susan for the code, or volunteer@sowa.org.
